We set out on this project to personally cover this event. We did not work for a specific client on this project, it was more for the general coverage and to share with our viewers.

Some stunning images came out of this project. Hot air balloons are without a doubt some of the prettiest things to capture.

THE IMPACT
Our hope is that our images impacted the community by potentially exposing someone to the event that did not know about it. We are thankful Colorado Springs does this event and we will be returning.
Background
The event extends throughout the weekend involving several activities onsite from local groups and businesses as well as many days of balloon events. Some of these include: remotely-operated balloons, balloon glow, and Saturday/Sunday lift-offs in the mornings.
Reasons of the project
This is the first year we have been able to attend the event. We wanted to enjoy the event, but also capture some images for all to see.
